Globally renowned and celebrated South African chef, Siba Mtongana, will be hosting a motivational and entrepreneurial talk, ‘What’s Cooking with Siba at the Time Out Market Cape Town. The afternoon promises to be an exciting rendition of her journey from an Eastern Cape township to a multi-award winning chef, restaurant owner and food connoisseur. The event will be held at Time Out Market in Cape Town on 24 August from 12pm to 3pm.
In honour of Women's Month, Siba will share her personal and business journeys with guests; she will talk about how she has navigated her path as a Xhosa woman from a rural township, where pursuing a career in a field that wasn’t always encouraged. She will also offer insights into how she has achieved her success and share valuable advice and encouragement on how to balance it all.
We will be offering a 3 or 4 course meal with or without wine. The menu on offer will be an array of dishes from The Siba Deli, which will include a braised item of choice, two side dishes and a decadent dessert. Vegetarians and vegans will be catered for.
